Run by Moe Assaf.
MSA Electrical Ltd. is a licensed electrical contractor based in Edmonton, run by Moe Assaf. The crew is small. The truck is clean. The work is done by certified people. No day-of subs from a roster you've never met.
The reason we built it this way is simple: the best electrical experiences we'd had as customers ourselves were the ones where the person on the phone was the person on the job. Quoting and installing belong to the same head. When something goes sideways on site, we know about it because we're standing in front of it. When you call about something six months later, we remember the panel.
What we believe
Electrical is one of those trades where the difference between okay work and good work is mostly invisible, until it isn't. Most panels look fine from the outside. Most circuits will deliver power for a while even if they're undersized or mis-terminated. The difference shows up in failure modes that nobody wants to live through. We do the work the way it should be done because the consequences of doing it any other way are real, and we'd rather not write them up later.
What that looks like in practice
We don't quote jobs we haven't seen. We don't pad timelines to make ourselves look good. We don't recommend panel upgrades that aren't needed, and we don't talk you out of ones that are. Wiring is sized to the actual load and the actual run length, not to the cheapest gauge that'll fit. Panels are labeled. Inspections are coordinated with the city and EPCOR, and we own that paperwork from start to finish. If we make a mistake we say so and we fix it.
Why Edmonton
Edmonton has a mixed housing stock. 1960s bungalows, '80s walk-ups, recent infills, big new builds out toward Windermere and Summerside. Different panels, different code eras, different challenges. We've worked on most of them. Service area includes Edmonton proper plus St. Albert, Sherwood Park, Spruce Grove, Beaumont, and Leduc. Outside that, give us a call anyway. We'll tell you honestly whether we can get there.
